Hanke vietteli. Jouduin tekemään työtä toisen kuvaajaan ja leikkaajan kanssa ( Franco Ubertini) ISEASin yhteisötaiteilijoiden viikon teoksista. Saavuttuani Mustiolle ja aloittaessani työn, tajusin, että se oli enemmän kuin kokemus, se oli myös pieni haaste. Kuvaus useissa työpajoissa ja muokkaus neljässä päivässä, iski paniikki.
Keskustelimme Franco Ubertinin kanssa ja päätimme tuoda enemmän esille taiteilijoiden aikomuksia ja tunteita. Tässä projektissa aika asetti tiukat raamit, jolloin sisältö muodostui merkittävämmäksi kuin loppuun hiottu tekniikka. Toivomme, että video tuo esille juuri tämän.
ISEASista opin useita asioita. Kieli ei ole rajoite, vaan pystymme työskentelemään yli kielirajojen ilman yhteistä kieltä. Kansainvälisessä ilmapiirissä työskenteleminen on fantastista!
Haluan kiittää kaikkia suomalaisia heidän ystävällisyydestään, Katjan äitiä hänen työstään tämän symposiumin aikana, sekä Katja aviomiehen apua ja Viktoria, joka lainasi meille tietokoneensa. Viimeiseksi kiitos Katjalle, jonka antoi mahdollisuuden tutustua uudenlaiseen taidesymposiumiin.
Projektet var begärande. Jag jobbade med en annan fotograf och tillskärare (Franco Ubertini) om verk av ISEAS-samhällskonstnärer i en vecka. När jag kom till Svartå och började arbeta insåg jag att det var mer än en erfarenhet, det var också en liten utmaning. Beskrivning och redigering av flera workshops om fyra
dagar – panik!
Vi pratade med Franco Ubertini och bestämde oss för att få fram mer om artisternas intentioner och känslor. I det här projektet var tiden strikt inramad, vilket gjorde innehållet mer betydelsefull än en finslipad teknik. Vi hoppas att videot kommer att ta upp det här.
ISEAS lärde oss flera saker. Språk är inte en begränsning, utan vi kan arbeta bortom språkgränser utan ett gemensamt språk. Att arbeta i en internationell atmosfär är fantastiskt!
Jag vill tacka alla finländare för deras vänlighet, Katjas mor för hennes arbete under detta symposium, både Katjas makes hjälp och sonen Viktor, som lånade ut sina datorer. Till sist ett stort tack till Katja, som gjorde det möjligt att vi fick lära oss känna detta nya slags konstsymposium .
The project craved. I had to work with another artist and cutter (Franco Ubertini) of the works of ISEAS community artists for a week. After I got to Mustio and started my work, I realized that it was more than experience, it was also a small challenge. Description and editing several workshops in four days – panic!
We talked with Franco Ubertini and decided to bring out the artists’ intentions and feelings. In this project, time was strictly framed, making the texture more significant than the finishing technique. We hope the video will bring this up.
ISEAS learned several things. Language is not a limit, but we can work beyond language limits without a common language. Working in an international atmosphere is fantastic!

Franco Ubertini, Italy

Fabio Cito, Italy

Born in Napoli in 1980. Freelance photographer since 2004. Curator in Italy of Neapolitan symposium. In 1999 he approached photography collaborating with some of the best experts regarding the Neapolitan ceremonial photographic’s tradition. In 2002, taking stock of the lessons learned, starts to assist and collaborate with reporters of international fame: Francesco Paolo Cito, Massimo Siragusa and Mario Spada. From 2008 to 2011 he collaborates with “Punta Corsara” a theatrical and pedagogical project aimed at creating dialogue between young people from some of the higher schools in the historic center of Naples and schools in the outskirts of Scampia. In 2010, he works as a photographer for the movie “Tatanka”. Between 2006 and 2014 he had documenting events for the Fondazione Morra and perfomance of Hermann Nitsch and Shimamoto. In 2015 he exposes at international exhibit “Milano Expo dal 1906 al 2015- 110 artisti raccontano l’Italia” into the “Palazzina Liberty”, in Milan. During the same year he exposes at the show “Maggioff”, created by a group of Neapolitan photographers really careful about the various and complex aspects of Naples. In 2015, in August, he exposes in Galleria Zebra, Fotocentrum Raseborg Valokuvakeskus in Karis, Finland. It was a work about Scampia, an area North of Naples, known for criminal organizations.
In Scampia he teaches since 2011. Today he is a member of “Occhi aperti” Cooperative, where he works on the problem of dropping out of school and teaches photography.
Denis Gorenc, France
I was born in Moulins in department Allier (France) in 1957.
Self-taught, I began the photography in the 70s around the theme of the light. Of 1980 in 90, I participated in several photographic exhibitions in France and abroad. In the early 2000s, I displayed during one year my photographic work during itinerant exhibitions in the Canary Islands. Several of my photos served to illustrate Spanish publications. From 2004 I painted abstract art and I made my first personal exhibition to the General Council of Moulins (France).
From 2005 till 2012 I participated in numerous personal and collective exhibitions in France. From 2013, I turned to the institutional video and the graphics design (I worked in the Communication during 14 years and I realized more than 120 institutional videos (shots and assembly) as well as several hundred posters (example of video « Boz’ Art en Baz’ Art » (international symposium in Bellerive sur Allier in France) on YouTube and different posters so other graphic works on the web site Boz’ Art en Baz’ Art : bozartenbazart.com).
